    getting back to the garden

Post  lost on Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:58 am

whilst i was walking from isleworth to "windsor"in serach of common/wasteland to cultivate in the tradition of the diggers,at least one ther family member was attending our local committee meeting in further promoting the SOS BRent Libraries campaign-to prevent the permanent closure of 7 out of 12 of our local libraries.once the meeting was done, some of the committee along with other supporters and volunteers went to tidy our local library gardens.so now each pot/container reminds passers by,the community and indeed the council that the plants were tended with LOVE.perhaps we should invoice that council for"its"work done-for if they can steal the books from our library, which is my view then they can pick up the tab for the maintenance of the building and its environs.but then waht is clear is that WE nt the coucil care about OUR community.

it seems to me that LOVE ought to be a feature of our"politics",although i prefer to talk about the whole of OUR self-activity.its clear that the local council have no love for us or our community.one of the things that defending our library shows is that WE DO LOVE OUR COMMUNITY and our LIBRARY
