    MAYDAY revisited

Post  lost on Tue Apr 12, 2011 5:36 pm

this year MAYDAY is a sunday, followed in britain by a public holiday on the monday.

however,i do not know whether the future for Masyday is secure.it is of politiical and spiritual significance in britain and should be kept that way.i dont want to see it disconnected further from either the date or from its significance.now should we allow its abolition-britain remains low on public holidays compared with the rest of europe.

i would like to hear from anyone willing to campaign in its defence and extension but definitely not its abolition, substitution or dilution.
